FAQs
Virgin hair is 100% human hair that has never undergone any chemical processing, with intact cuticles aligned in the same direction. Compared to Remy hair, virgin hair retains its original strength, elasticity, and luster, allowing it to be safely bleached, dyed, and heat-styled without significant damage, and it boasts a longer lifespan.
Yes. Because virgin hair is unprocessed, it is far more resilient to heat tools and chemical dyes than any processed hair. You can safely dye, or curl it. However, please note that bleaching will still impact the hair’s integrity. We recommend having a professional stylist perform the coloring and always using a heat protectant spray and deep conditioning treatments to extend the hair’s lifespan.
With proper care and moderate use, a high-quality set of Virgin Clip-in extensions can last 6-12 months or even longer. This exceptional longevity is due to the intact cuticles and undamaged hair core. Daily wear frequency, styling habits, and washing routines will all directly affect durability.
Use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and a deep conditioner, avoiding application of conditioner near the roots or clips. Gently massage the hair when washing; never wring or pull it forcefully. Always detangle starting from the ends and work your way up using a wide-tooth comb or an extension-specific brush. We recommend washing 1–2 times per week to prevent dryness from over-cleansing.
Yes, but you must choose the right weight carefully. Virgin hair has a naturally full texture; if your natural hair is very fine or sparse, heavy extensions may cause the clips to slip or pull on your scalp. We recommend opting for a lightweight set (100g–110g), using fewer wefts, or prioritizing ultra-thin base styles specifically designed for fine hair.
After washing and completely air-drying, gently comb the hair smooth and lay it flat or roll it into the original dust bag or a silk storage pouch. Avoid folding or compressing the hair, as this can create creases or damage the clips. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to maintain the hair’s shine and the clips’ elasticity.
Loose clips are a normal sign of wear and can usually be fixed at home. Use needle-nose pliers to gently squeeze the inner metal teeth of the clip to restore its grip. If a clip is broken or severely deformed, please contact our customer service for replacement parts. Do not continue to use damaged clips, as this may damage your natural hair or cause the extensions to fall out.
