FAQs
"Virgin" means the hair is 100% unprocessed human hair with intact cuticles, making it durable and tangle-free. "Flat Weft" refers to a thinner, wider sewing track at the top of the extension. This design lies flat against the scalp, significantly reducing bulk and providing a seamless, natural look.
Traditional machine wefts are usually thicker (around 2-3mm) and can create a noticeable ridge on the head. Flat Wefts have a much thinner and wider track that distributes weight more evenly, resulting in a flatter profile, less bulk, and superior comfort for everyday wear.
Flat Wefts are ideal for medium to thick hair. Because the track still has some structural thickness, it may be slightly visible on very fine or thin hair. Clients with extremely fine hair are often better suited for ultra-thin Hand-Tied Wefts.
With proper care, high-quality Virgin Flat Wefts can be reused for 6 to 12 months. Maintenance appointments (Move-ups) are typically required every 6 to 8 weeks.
Absolutely. Since they are made of Virgin hair, you can treat them just like your own hair. You can wash, blow-dry, and use hot tools. However, we recommend using a heat protectant and keeping the temperature moderate to prolong the lifespan of the extensions.
Mild tightness or tenderness during the first week is completely normal as your scalp adjusts to the new weight and tension. This usually subsides within a few days. If you experience severe pain, the beads may have been installed too tightly, and you should contact your stylist immediately.
Typically, 150g–200g is recommended for a natural full head look. Flat Weft is 50g/bundle. Usually need 3-4 bundles for a full head.
