About Halo Human Hair Extension.
How do you apply Halo Hair Extensions?
It's simple really.
The Halo attaches to your head using the invisible wire. The wire attaches to both sides of the weft.
The weft goes to the back of your head and sits under your occipital bone.
And the wire sits about 1-2 inches from your hairline.
How can I Take Care of HALO HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Just like other clip in hair extensions, be sure to use only alcohol-free and sulfate-free hair products on your Halo set or hair products specially formulated for hair extensions to avoid the hair drying out.
When it comes to the shampoo and conditioner that you use to wash your hair, we would always strongly recommend you to choose products that not contain ingredients such as sulfates and alcohol, which are known for stripping your hair of its natural oils and in turn, making your extensions more likely to get matted.
Once you are stocked up with the right products, you’ll then be free to wash your hair without having to worry about how the shampoo and conditioner may react against your extensions. We’d recommend, if possible, washing your hair in the shower, allowing the water to flow down your hair. While it may be easier to flip your hair over the bath to clean quickly, this does make the extensions more prone to tangling, meaning that you’ll have to spend ages afterward brushing out knots. When washing, always ensure that you focus your shampoo on the roots to remove excess oil and conditioner on the ends to keep them nourished. Putting conditioner anywhere near your roots may cause the extensions to begin slipping down your hair, making them last far less long. Also, try to use warm water rather than scorching hot as this, again, will strip the natural oils from both your hair and scalp.
CAN I DYE MY HALO EXTENSIONS?
Yes, because they are made with 100% Remy human hair, so Halo Hair can be dyed darker or toned by a professional hair colorist. But Halo Hair cannot be bleached or lightened, however, as this process is damaging to the hair. Be sure to avoid dyeing the nylon wire as it needs to remain clear and transparent.
CAN I CURL MY HALO EXTENSIONS?
Absolutely! In fact you can treat them just like your own hair. Just remember, like your own hair, human hair extension are not indestructible. But there are some caveats you need to know:
Step 1: Apply a little stronghold mousse or curling cream to your extensions to define them better. This will smooth down stray hair strands and help them hold shape.
Step 2: Curl the extensions with a heated hair styling tool. Never use plastic rollers.
Step 3: Make sure that your curling wand is set anywhere from 180-220 degrees if your extensions are synthetic. If you exceed this temperature, you risk melting the synthetic fibers!
Don't hesitate, just have a try.
