How to apply Hair Weft?
Hair Wefts allow you to choose more convenient way for you to complete applyment. If you are not sure which way is suitable for you, please ask your hairstylist. They are more profeesional about that. Here just are some suggestions for you to apply hair weft.
Notice: Before you start attaching your extensions, wash your hair with a deep cleansing shampoo. This will ensure that old product residue and grease from the scalp have disappointed. Do not use conditioner or other styling products. It should be completely dry at the time of attachment.
- Sew in Hair Weft via braid
- Use the hair in this section to create a tightly braided braid.
- Begin at one edge and braid to the middle. Finish the braid with a small sheer rubber band and then braid the hair from the other side.
- Measure and cut the hair weft so that the piece fits the length of the entire part you created. Attach the ends of the weft using a needle and thread to prevent the hair from dropping from the weft.
- Then thread a bent needle and gently sew the hairline on the entire length of the braid.
- Thoroughly secure the ends of the weft.
- Repeat for the desired results and number of pieces.
- You can also attach your hair weft with glue.
But some people may be sensitive to ingredients in the glue, spo test on an area such as the hand to see if any redness occurs 48 hours before using the glue on your scalp.
- Part your hair and make a section. Then measure and cut the weft to the length of the hair section. Attach the ends of the weft by sealing off the edges with glue or needle and thread to prevent the hair from fall off the weft.
- Apply glue on the upper edge of the weft and along the section of your natural hair closest to the scalp.
- Then press the extensions against the glue in your natural hair. Hold until the glue is dried and the hair piece sits securely.
- Repeat for the desired results and number of pieces.
- Attaching your weft with microrings
- Create a horizontal part. Measure and cut the weft to the length of the parted section. Secure the ends of the weft by closing the edges with glue or needle and thread to make sure no hairs escape from the weft.
- Use hair clips to secure the cut piece to your natural hair.
- Place a microring on the needle and open the hook.
- Grasp a section of your natural hair and a section of the weft with the hook. (You should feel some slight resistance – if you don’t, more hair is needed to prevent the hair from slipping out.)
- Then squeeze the microring firmly with the pliers, pressing hard until it is nearly flat.
