When I received the hair extensionre, I found it was the perfect blend for my medium ash blonde hair, and length for my hair which is medium length.Also perfect, was the overall shape - I did not have to trim, or take to my stylist to trim and layer.That impssed me , as I have another Halo type extension such as this - I paid at least double for - a mix with real hair, same length , etc... that needed to be shaped and trimmed - I was pleasantly surprised and pleased how no fuss the VIVIEN hair extension was ! I was able to slip on and wear right then and there.The hair is soft, silky, easy to brush or comb out. The look is very natural. It feels and behaves as real hair.I have thin fine hair left over from aggressive chemo years ago, and the extension appears as my own hair, but thicker, and longer. The weft portion where the hair is attached is thin, and is not detected. I simply wear low, pretty much under all of my hair.I curl just a bit with low-med heat, and the hair takes to it well.It`s a little daunting to first learn how to slide the adjustments, but once it`s done, it is a breeze.This extension does not come equipped with little clips or combs attached, but for extra self feeling of security a bobby pin or 2 will do.It washes well, with a water rinse, a few dunks and massages in a bit of fabric softener and water, and rinse again - have to remember this hair is of a fiber not natural - it bounces back into shape, with very little shedding.I have worn half a dozen times with great results.If and when I am in the need for another , I will come to Sarla first .

I have never before worn a hairpiece of any kind. My hair is a light neutral brown (not colored) that is fine and silky but abundant, making it impossible to anchor complicated hairdos, updos or pieces on my head without professional intervention - everything just slides off my head. So when I went through temporary hair loss 1.5 years ago (caused by keto) I didnt think I had any options except to bob off my hair while it grew back in. Well thanks to a stressful move this summer the tellogen effluvium (thinning as hair falls out but stops growing back in for several months) struck again and my fine hair is now ridiculously wispy, especially around my face. Think Filch from Hogwarts - not sexy. I wanted to try hairpieces to fill out the sides and ends but feared that clipping on anything would further destroy the hair I had left or pull out the hair growing in.So I accidentally came across this and at this price thought, why not? I worried that the color or texture would look off IRL but the hairpiece blends with my hair flawlessly. At 14” this is about 6” longer than my collarbone length hair so I will need to trim it up if I decide to use it daily but the color and sheen looked 100% natural - those who had to dull it down with dry shampoo must have processed or highly textured hair. I wore it out last weekend and it was comfortable but I definitely felt it sitting on my head, much like a headband, and was a bit self-conscious that the crimped beads or an edge would show due to how very thin my hair is but my husband assured me it was undetectable and my hair looked like it did before this all started. We decided to name it Karen and I will definitely be taking her out alot over the winter as my hair grows back.It seemed like alot of reviews were from people that wanted to add length or bulk out healthy hair so I just wanted to let the ladies who might be going through hairloss that it can absolutely work for them as well. I recommend using volumizing products to plump up your hair and blowing it out to be sure you can blend it in seamlessly. I also found that I had to sit the wire back a little further than some directions suggested to prevent a line/part from showing on the crown, and felt more secure using a small barrette underneath in back to prevent accidental shifting. If you are on the fence about whether this can work with your thinning hair, dont be, get your own Karen today!
